What Is the Müzekart?

With the Müzekart, Türkiye’s “museum-to-museum” card, you can visit more than 300 museums and archaeological sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism free of charge and set off on an enjoyable journey through history. The Müzekart is available only to citizens of Türkiye, Blue Card holders and citizens of the TRNC; foreign visitors can choose one of the Museum Pass cards below.
The Müzekart offers culture and art lovers who value the past a historic opportunity full of advantages. It lets you visit, twice a year and free of charge, the museums that preserve the tastes, ideas, beliefs and ways of life of civilizations and carry this heritage into the future.
With the Müzekart, the doors of museums, the homes of art, science, culture and history, in other words the doors of history, are thrown wide open to you. Leave no museum unvisited and no work unseen. What’s more, your Müzekart is valid for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase and costs 200 TL (2 February 2026 tariff).

Discounted Müzekart

What Is the Discounted Müzekart?

For teachers holding a valid ID card from the Ministry of National Education or from private primary and secondary schools, and for students over 18, the Discounted Müzekart costs 100 TL (2 February 2026 tariff). Like the Müzekart, it is valid for one year and lets you visit each of the more than 300 museums and archaeological sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism twice a year free of charge. This provision does not apply to retired teachers, private tutoring center teachers or university faculty and teaching staff. You can buy the Discounted Müzekart at card printing stations by presenting the required documents.

Museum Pass The Aegean

What Is the Museum Pass The Aegean?

With Museum Pass cards you can visit museums and archaeological sites free of charge for a set period, skipping the ticket office and the queue with fast-track entry, and enjoy many other advantages such as discounted shopping at museum and site shops.
Valid for 7 days from first use, it gives the holder one entry to each of the museums and archaeological sites in the provinces of İzmir, Aydın, Muğla and Denizli.
The Museum Pass The Aegean is sold for 95 € at muze.gov.tr.

Museum Pass The Mediterranean

What Is the Museum Pass The Mediterranean?

With Museum Pass cards you can visit museums and archaeological sites free of charge for a set period, skipping the ticket office and the queue with fast-track entry, and enjoy many other advantages such as discounted shopping at museum and site shops.
Valid for 7 days from first use, the Museum Pass The Mediterranean gives the holder one entry to each of the museums and archaeological sites in the provinces of Antalya, Mersin, Adana and Denizli.

Museum Pass Cappadocia

Museum Pass Cappadocia

It lets you visit each of the following once, free of charge, during its validity: Ihlara Valley, Derinkuyu Underground City, Göreme Open-Air Museum, the Dark Church in Göreme, Kaymaklı Underground City, Özkonak Underground City, Nevşehir Museum, Çavuşin Archaeological Site, Hacıbektaş Museum and Zelve-Paşabağlar Archaeological Site.

The 3-day card costs 65 €.

Museum Pass Türkiye

What Is the Museum Pass Türkiye?

Valid for 15 days from first use, the Museum Pass Türkiye card gives the holder one entry to each of more than 350 museums and archaeological sites run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The Museum Pass Türkiye is sold for 165 € at muze.gov.tr.
The Museum Pass Türkiye card also gives discounts at all museum and site shops run by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism across Türkiye, discounted entry to participating private museums and sites in the region, and discounts at participating cafés, restaurants, accommodation, entertainment venues and shops.

Corporate Card

What Is the Corporate Card?

The Corporate Card is designed for visiting delegations hosted by public institutions and organizations, universities and municipalities to use on museum and archaeological site visits.
Applications for the Corporate Card must be made to the Central Directorate of the Revolving Fund Enterprise of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, together with the completed request form and the payment receipt.

Visitor information for the Ancient City of Ephesus

Closed Days

Closed until 13:00 on the first day of religious holidays.

Admission Fee

40 € for foreign visitors (including the Ephesus Experience Museum). Turkish citizens can enter the Ancient City of Ephesus with the Müzekart.

Under Article 10 of the directive issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the procedures and principles for entry to museums and archaeological sites:
Museums and archaeological sites are closed until 13:00 on the first day of religious holidays.

With the Müzekart you can visit for a whole year.
