Mulberry Road is a lovely route running from the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, to UNESCO World Heritage Ephesus and beyond.

Used by locals for walking and cycling in all four seasons, it is known as a route that offers the pleasure of a nature walk right within the town.
The road begins near the Ephesus Museum. Walking from the start of Mulberry Road to Ephesus takes about half an hour. At the third kilometer of Mulberry Road, on the left, is the local airfield, Selçuk Ephesus Airport. It is also one of the places in Türkiye where you can go skydiving. Officially named Dr. Sabri Yayla Boulevard but known to everyone as MULBERRY ROAD, this road stretches for kilometers, lined on both sides with mulberry trees, and offers a wonderful atmosphere for exercise, cycling and walking.
Another lovely feature of Mulberry Road is the Hıdrellez Festival held every year on 5–6 May, when lokma (sweet fried dough) is handed out and festivities are organized. If you happen to be in the area on 5–6 May, we recommend you don’t miss this colorful celebration. Dr. Sabri Yayla was the first mayor of Selçuk. Elected in 1942, when the town had just become a municipality, Yayla served only about six months before passing away in 1943, yet as the man behind a work as beloved as Mulberry Road, he left a lasting mark on the town.
